Three HVRHA members traveled to TN in the month of June to participate in the World Show. The weather was sweltering hot and humid but a great time was had by all of us. Alex Morency particpated in the Youth 14-18 division on Skippers Buster, Linda Delisle competed in the Amateur, Select and Open divisions on Charmin Cisco Kid, and Wendy Bink participated in the Open division on Dustys Jackinthebox.
Results were as follows:
Alex Morency w/Skippers Buster
World Champion in Youth Working Cowhorse 14-18
Reserve World Champion in Youth Working Ranch Horse 14-18
3rd in Youth Poles
4th in Youth Trail
7th in Youth Horsemanship
9th Youth Ranch Reining 14-18
Linda Delisle and Charmin Cisco Kid
World Champion Amateur Stallions 3 and over
World Champion Select Conformation
Reserve World Champion Open Stallions 4 and over
7th in Poles
8th in Select Ranch Riding
She also made the finals & placed under 1 judge in both Amateur and Jr ranch riding, which were HUGE classes.
Wendy Bink and Dustys Jackinthebox competed in the Open division which was some real tough competition. The cattle were strong down there and the horsepower just as strong. They made it back to the finals in the Senior Ranch Riding with over 40 horses in the class. A job well done.
HVRHA was well represented for sure and a lot of 'hardware' was brought back to the Northeast.
